A collaborative project with artist Heloise Godfrey to create an installation to celebrate the Sherman Theatre’s 40th Birthday. The installation sought to delight and engage audiences, encouraging them to share personal memories of the theatre.  It comprised 4 reclaimed wardrobes (one for each decade of the theatre) with imagery from posters, programmes, scripts, photographs and other ephemera from the Sherman archive. Visitors added memories via a ‘memory tag’, and attached them to a wardrobe, creating a growing artwork. Chipper provided design, imagery, typography on wardrobes and a large scale window illustration designed to engage with passers-by, encouraging them to reconnect with the theatre.
